Alexandra Starker had an ambitious start to her skiing career. At the age of four, during her first skiing lessons, Alexandra already believed herself to be one of the pros and boldly took off into the ‘bone yard’ at the Calgary Canadian Olympic Park. Now being ranked the top female Canadian in para-alpine, Alexandra will be competing in her first Paralympics as she travels to Sochi with Team Canada. When she is not skiing, Starker has other sports keeping her busy as Alexandra is also a member of the Canadian Sitting Volleyball team.
