Alex Gough

Alex Gough and the Canadian Luge team are looking to shake things up at the XXII Olympic Winter Games. Back in 2011 Alex ended a 105-race winning streak by Germany when she was the first Canadian luger to win a World Cup race. As the Games approach Gough is only gaining speed, claiming silver in both the team relay and women’s singles at a World Cup in Altenberg, Germany, and still has one more World Cup event before the Games officially open. Canada has never won an Olympic medal in Luge however Alex is well on her way to putting that to an end.
