Tyler McGregor - Sledge Hockey

Tyler McGregor was named to the Canadian sledge hockey team when he was only 18. He was also the youngest member of the squad when team Canada won gold at the 2013 World Championships. Even though Tyler is just at the beginning of his sledge hockey career, he is already raking in the hardware. On top of Team Canada’s 2013 World’s gold, there are another two gold medals in the mix, as well as a silver medal. Sochi 2014 will be Tyler’s Paralympic debut with Team Canada.

Dominic Larocque - Sledge Hockey

Dominic Larocque serves in the Canadian Forces and was introduced to sledge hockey through their Soldier On Programme. While Larcoque always had a passion for hockey, it took a bit of an adjustment to learn how to move and play the game relying entirely on his arms. The adjustment didn’t take long however. Dominic caught the eyes of Team Canada at a camp in 2010 and hasn’t looked back since. Larocque will be making his Paralympic debut at the Sochi 2014 Games.
